well i don't know and i'm not sure if it's the same wavelenght. but it worked for me. i don't have acces to a meter but i'm willing to provide that last light/ballast to someone who can do some test? just pay shipping? i guess you can have it.

not sure if it's the same gas or not, you are correct the it is the wavelength of light emitted that determines the color.
