Results?
I did it today by accident. 250 watt Ushio. Swapped bulbs, fired it up forgetting to put the glass back in (it was soaking in vinegar). Came back 15 minutes later...
...That was around 11:00 AM this morning. I noticed all polyps on all corals retracted, and the Acropora tissue had that "just been shipped" receded/abraded look. Porites were really tightly retracted.
Four hours later, polyps are partially extended, water looks a little hazy.
