Saw a video and thought what thus might work for sps . Just wondering has it been tested?

They are good for say under the counter lighting.(Until they are not) Be sure you have Fire insurance on your home or Rental .

No Not good for reef aquarium. But they might grow some algae,(Until they do not)
 
Absolutely a NO. These won't put off anywhere close to enough light. An LED bulb appropriate for marine life needs to be 3 watts each bulb... These are MAYBE .2 each and wouldn't even support the life of softies. Don't waste your money. Buy real aquarium lighting, and buy the pricey high performing ones before you even start talking about SPS corals :)

I saw a YouTube video of a Russian in a motorcycle with a bear in the side seat. Doesn't make it a good idea because I saw it on YouTube.
 
I tried using them for fw low light plants and they did not work well, under cab lighting is fine though;) I run a mars and it's working pretty well for my mixed reef. I've heard the galaxy is a better products for only a few more bucks.

Like everyone has mentioned they won't grow anything in your tank and they are of poor quality to say the least.
