Has anyone used one of these? To remove the blue out of pics under 20k? I have a D50 and was looking to get one.

i was purchasing my macro lens yesterday, and the guy behind the counter recommended it, and just after, a salty old photo-veteran sidled up and whispers "get one, they are worth their weight in gold" and pops one out of his pocket to show me.

The only other thing he mentioned is to go as large as possible, to accomodate any lenses in the future, bigger is better.

on the other hand, a white cap wherever you are is virtually free.
