has anyone used a wave point t5 light

I had one and brought it back. Complete junk IMO. The bulbs and ballast are sealed into the fixture there is no way for the heat to escape. For the money I think a New Wave or SunBlaze would be a better buy for alot less.
If you were set on buying one or have already bought one I would recommend picking up some heat sink and gluing it to to the top middle section all the way across. Then wire in 2 or 3 computer fans to blow cool air into the heat sink to help keep the fixture cool.
