has anyone used the korilla hydor powerhead? have one for sale?

i guess i'll post to this one too. they work good. good luck on trying to find them. i have 2 number 1"s and they don't draw squat foe elec. and they put out a nice fan pattern. the best bang for your buck. they don't do well on a wavemaker unless you can control the on and off time. they snap when they try to start. hydror is coming out with a wavemaker so i heard. george runs 2 number 4's on a wave master pro and he can barely hear them make the noise. you can get 2400 gph using 18 watts of elec for 120 bucks.

I just bought one number 1 and I think it works pretty well. I have it hooked up on a red sea wavemaker and seems to be doing fine. I'll be looking for a couple more in the near future.

If you search through the DIY forum, there is a mod you can perform where you add a stopper to the impeller so that when you run it on a timer as a wave maker, it wont click and is not as rough on the PH. :)

Aquatica Studios has number 1s I believe they were 40 bucks and they have number 4s but I think they were something like 70, SITC is currently out of stock, I think everyone is out of stock something about them introducing them to germany right now or something. Ich mirchte meine hydor.

Edit on the name of AS wasn't thinking. my bad.

Aquatic Eco doesn't currently carry them.

I have 2 4s for a few months and absolutely good for the money! lot's of flow come out of this PHs, only problem I had is one turbo snail got inside throug the front of the ph and almost shaved the propeller.

I'm staring at my 2 #1s as I write this...just came for DFS this afternoon - $30.00 for the #1s....woohoo, time to play :)

now i'm mad. just got off the phone with them and they thought i wanted to cancel my order due to backorder. o well. still have some coming from marine depot
