anyone heard of a cleaner shrimp pairing up with a BTA?

My new cleaner shrimp wont leave its side.
i've never heard of this before.

As strange as it sounds our skunk and one of our bta's has had a similar relationship for over a year now. The shrimp NEVER leaves its side during the day and rarely at night. It just kinda hovers around the outside edge of the nem. At first I thought the same as you guys that its just waiting to steal food but every time I feed the tank the shrimp doesn't so much as think about it. Its a weird relationship to say the least but kinda cool to watch.

My blood shrimp spends most of its time near my RBTA too.. and rushes away to grab the food somewhere else when I feed the tank. I guess the tenticles can offer some protection if they don't get too close themselves!
