Hatching your own Brine Shrimp

I'm trying to hatch my own brine shrimp. I'd like to have mine look like what I buy @ the petstore. How long /how old are they when one would buy them at the LFS to feed your fish? How do they get so PINK? I tried hatching my own before- followed the directions to a "T". I am using a countertop hatchery from a modded 2l soda bottle. I've always questioned the freshness of the eggs in those containers. I'm sure that could be a factor!

Any experience along these lines???

Trough that crap in the garbage....Get eggs from Brine Shrimp Direct...Keep em in the fridge.They are pink when they have there yoke sack still.First 24 hours.
