Havent replaced my RODI filters in a year and two months.

I don't understand. What do you mean?

I make 5 gallons every week. Not sure what my incoming tds is.

Incoming is what's coming out of your tap, before it goes into your RODI.

Yes and maybe no. The end product may show 0 TDS but you also want to check for chlorine/chloramines (carbon filters may need changing). Test your wastewater to see if carbon filter(s) need changing.

If you want additional assurance, get a second TDS meter and double check the RODI water to make sure the current TDS meter isn't faulty.

5 gallons a week is not much but I would still change out your sediment and carbon block filters after that amount of time.

Congrats.. You barely use it and your source water is likely clean..

Expect a long life out of it.. Your RO membrane should last 5 years or so and I would suggest just replacing all the pre-filters/DI resin every 1.5 years based on current consumption..

+1, just be sure to change out the pre-filters to protect the RO membrane.

Me neither. I don't make a ton of water, TDS still reading zero.They wear out based on use, so you don't use it much, it doesn't wear out.

I make about 50 gallons per week. My unit has a 99% Spectrapure RO and I just changed my DI after 14 moths. I do change my carbon and sed every 6 months.

A 5 gallons, it could be a long time before you need to change.

I can't remember the interval before I had to change the carbon and pre filter on my rodi because it was so long ago. the SF bay area tds on tap water is about 80, and I only use 5 gallons a week average. Last time I changed the filters, my tds was still 0, but I noticed the water output from the rodi has slowed down quite a bit.
