I haven't seen one like this before. Any idea what type it is?

It's a coralimorph? I'd lean towards a Rhodactis indosinensis, but the tentacles are really fat. It also has some qualities of a St Thomas, forked tentacle morph (Discosoma/Rhodactis sanctothomae). Neat find. Do you know anything about it?

I'm 99% sure it's not an anemone.... It's definitely an oddball. I was thinking along the same lines as you, but those tentacles kept throwing me off.

I'll ask the vendor where he got it. It was $15 (and had a baby on it as well). Not too bad in my books.

Def not an elephant ear. Although when I had mine it never could catch a fish.
