is it possibe to have 2 pairs of clowns in the same tank?

lets say i get two clowns, they pair up , and are living together for a while. then i add another 2 clowns that are already paired.

will they just get along and mind each others business?
or will they re-establish dominace?

is this a good idea or a bad idea

It's pretty much a bad idea, unless you have a huge tank or clowns that all hatched together, and even then you may have dominance issues.

We tried that in our 120 life was good for about 2 months then it all went down hill. One of the clowns from the bigger pair started attacking the smaller pair and we had to seperate the pairs. Lucky I had a 27 gal hospital tank. I now have a 10 gal hospital tank!

I tried once and it lasted about a month or so.Then smaller pair had to hide alot. Then it made them hard to catch cause they where in the rocks

Save yourself time and money. Ohh and the hassle of trying to get the weaker pair out once they start fighting. Stick to one pair or in some cases a trio per tank.
