i got a new light today and moved my sebae that hasnt really footed in anywhere. i walked outside to have a smoke and came back in and he was sucked up in my filter. i got him out very carfully and he looks as if he is recovering but i would like to know if there is anything i could do.

also i had glass versa tops on my tank and there was salt buildup around the edges. when i moved it a piece of dried salt fell on my condy. he is now spitting some white stringy stuff out of his mouth. is he going to die or is this a natural defence? someone please give me some advice quickly. thanks:( :( :( :( :(

The most important thing to do is to remove/cover your powerheads and filters. How long have you had the nem?

not very long about two and a half weeks and he hasnt dug his foot in yet. he wasnt doing very well before this happend. i put him closer to the light on some rocks last night and he looked like he had attatched to the rocks so i plugged the filter back in and i went out to have a smoke and i came back in about 15 min later and he was sucked in the intake of my aquaflow 110

What kind of lights are you running now?

Sebaes prefer having their foot in the sandbed, so putting it on the rocks isn't a good idea. I looked at some of your other pictures, and it didn't look all that great before hand. To be honest I would be surprised if it makes it after this. But all you can do is put it in the sandbed, and try to feed it something small.

As for the condy, keep a close on it it, I have lost a BTA in the past from dropping some salt creep on it.

And again what type of lights are you running and what size is your tank. Having two anemones in your tank may not be the best idea depending on the size of the tank.

i just got 260 pc today. i also have 110 of my old pc that im running. i know that the sebae is bleached but im hoping for the best. its been that way ever sence i got him. i cant take him back because of the life garentee that i got.
