Having problems with Clownfish Pairing

Hello all. I purchased my two black clownfish around october of last year. They were both very tiny (1" max) and got along with each other fine for the first few months they were in the tank. However, when the larger one decided to become female, things took a rough step.

Everytime the small clownfish comes out now the larger one darts straight to it and twitches like crazy. I know this is mating stuff, but the little one shows no response back to the larger and darts off to where the larger one cannot get to it.

There was about a three day span about a month ago when it seemed like they figured everything out, but now they are back to normal.

Yesterday, after much research, I added my first anemone. The anemone was doing well, and to speed up the process of hosting I taped a picture of a clown in an anemone to the tank before I went to work at 1, and when I got home at 530 the larger one was in it. (coincidence or not, that really works) Now, the small one wants in too and when it does the larger one twitches at it and the small one ignores it, and they fight continuously in the anemone, until the smaller shoots off and hides.

What in the world is going on here?!
