brine shrimp? well my clown feeds it most of the time when i feed my fishes.. so i think it does. =\

do i have to direct feed it and if so with what?

thanks for the quick reply

Do you have any powerheads in the water that can move water around to offer it lots of indirect current, they do need good indirect current to breath. I have a 30 tank with the main filter pusing water around and 2 powerheads pusing water in the main display around.

Water parameters look good, what kind of light is it under? You can directly feed it SilverSides (small frozen fish). I thaw the fish out and soak it in seacon or zoecon, feed mine 3 times a week. If the nutritional needs are not being met, then it will have to derive most of the nutrients from light.

I would separate the maroon and anemone and do regular water changes. If you are actually registering ammonia, that is a definite concern. I would test the water with another test kit to see if there is any ammonia. Anemones can't tolerate any.
