Well I seem to have a bit of a problem and I dont know whats causing it. I have a frogspawn that the ends seem to be exploding. Its coverd in brownish whiteish stuff and im not really sure whats going on. I think the half of it that is affected isnt going to make it but is it going to spread to the other side of it? If it is can I stop it? Also I have some zoos that the tops have turned white like the frogspawn. whats going on

I'd frag it off. There's a certain brown slime disease they get. Get strong garden shears, the sort you'd use on roses, and nip it. But if you're getting whitening---look at your max daily temperature. If it tops 84, you get bleaching, which doesn't take a disease to do damage. You may need to put a fan to blowing on your sump or tank.

If it's starting to goo up a lot, I would dump it completely. Euphyllia are notorious for contracting the dreaded brown jelly infection. That sounds like what you have, but you may want to look into it a little bit.

The ONLY thing I've ever had luck with somewhat thwarting off BJ infections is running the coral under tap water. The chlorine and freshwater seems to kill off the infection, but it's rough on the coral as well. I've had a couple Goniopora that I used this treatment on, though they sadly went by the wayside during a different tank problem. They were recovering nicely.
