i am closing the buy on friday but wont take delivery for another week to give Alex time to try and fill the order...

Cutting out wholesalers and retailers tends to annoy same. And annoyed people tend to make different buying decisions in the future as not to support their direct competitors in the industry.

I would buy from Alex because of 2 good reasons. First he does not use cyanide and several divers here on Reefcentral can vouch for him. There are still a few collectors in Hawaii that uses cyanide and other chemicals believe it or not so not all fish from Hawaii you see at your LFS are 100% cyanide free.

Second some fish he collects are from the deep parts of water ie. Crosshatches. He will spend the extra time to decompress the fish before bringing them up creating less stress and lower the mortality rate so your fish doesnt croak in a few weeks.
