Hawaiian Fish Group Buy

I apologize for jumping the gun. I looked through the entire list and saw one was previously spoken for. The email from alex said that payment had to be in by noon and so I went ahead and paid for the second one. Sorry if I stepped on any toes!

Hey Gabriel
Sorry I miss the group buy but most of the fish that I want is unavailable anyway. Just only potty and I don't want to pay shipping cost just for one fish. Is alex send any extra fish? if yes which one I might want it and I can pay him by paypal.
thanks

the extra fish are gone..

all i have is the potters angel.. did you pay for this fish?

Hey Gabe,

Thanks alot for putting together the Group Buy. All of the fish and things look great, except for one heniochus butterfly fish, which wasnt doing to well when acclimating then died. But thats alright everything else is fine, 8 of 9 aint bad.

Hey Gabe-

I also wanted to thank you for putting together this group buy. The fish seemed fine when I placed them in the tank but then I had to shoot off to work. Hopefully they will still be swimming when I get home. Thanks again!

Rob

I am missing a potters wrasse and a christmas wrasse which I think is the prettiest fish. I am hoping they have just burried themselves in the sand for hiding. Besides those two, all are eating well.

Here is my bird wrasse pair:

Elegant Wrasse acclimating in my Fuge until I could get a handle on my bastard maroon, she's doing great...eating mysis, blood worms, etc:

Orange Shoulder Tang/Surgeon Fish. I put him in QT just because he's a tang and suspect for disease and he was looking a little pale when I picked him up at the airport. So far he's looking great, color is back and he swims a lot. He is eating flakes and pellets:

Thanks again Gabriel for putting this together!! Oh and by the way, those concerned about shipping costs, they were EXTREMELY reasonable. Almost like paying tax on the full price of the fish, maybe even cheaper.

great pics. I thought the greenbirds were not a good reef fish
I've heard mixed reviews. I guess they eat crustaceans and thats why they say not reef safe. I have a snow flake eel that is also a crustacean eater, but doesnt touch my CB shrimp, alhtough I think he made a meal of two free peppermint shrimp I had. The bird wrasses want nothing to with any corals (my only real concern) and are very mellow/freightened fish. My maroon had to be moved to the sump because he was picking on them. My powder blue tang was also chasing them, but has now stopped harassing them. I dont have many hermits, but there are a few in my tank. I think the bird wrasse pair are the coolest fish in my tank, next to the PBT.

i swear i am going to buy those fish from alex in the next few months.. keep us posted on how they do in a reef tank....

For those who ordered the male crosshatches. What were your sizes?

They were all 10-12". Gabe was saying a 225g or larger tank. I though maybe I could slide one in my 150, but after seeing them...no way. 150g is not big enough.
