Hey everyone,
Per request, I asked the collector if he could get Hawaiian Longfin Anthias and Scarface Blennies. In order for him to actually dive to collect these fish, he'd like to plan to get a larger group of them if possible to make it worth the dive. He's able to collect just about any fish from Hawaii and is offering to collect show quality, healthy specimens of just about any species.
He says the Scarface Blennies are tough to catch because they like to hide. He can definately collect these and would like to get at least 10 ordered. There is already a request for 4 of these.
He says the Anthias are at 100+ feet depths and need to be decompressed. He would attempt to collect them if we had enough people interested and could get a list of 15-20 fish ordered. His price is $60 each. So far I have a request for 2 males and 1 female. The problem with these fish is that they are rarely seen and hard to catch. If we had a list of people interested, as he catches them, I'll notify in order requested but would need immediate payment to have the fish held for the person. Now if we can get a large enough group, he says that he'll actually schedule out multiple dives to catch them.
