right now, i have a 25g cube with some local zoos (palys, whatever) a feather duster, 2 false percs, 1 lawnmower blennie and 1 hermit...

ill post pics soon! :)

anyone know any other sources other than modern for some different colored zoos!? where can i get some different legal stuff!?
 
I have a list at home of some of the legal critters and corals you may import. Not much I can do right now though.

I'll see if the wife can locate it for me somehow, but it's probagly buried on the harddrive.

thanks bro! im dying to get more variety in my tank... my base rock is turning an ugly brownish color from the algae and i wanna cover it up!! :) hehe...

i need some live rock too... anyone selling a couple small peices? maybe like 1 lbs of rubble... id like to seed my base rock.

question: is it possible for base rock to grow purple coraline? one of my base rocks seems to be growing some purple dots on it's underside...

ill see if i can take some pics. :)
 
Yup, very possible. If you've got anything in the tank that's got coralline on it, it can spread pretty quickly.

cool... its wierd though, as far as i know, the only think that may have had coraline on it is my hermit's shell! lol... everything else was base rock (dead, as far as i knew) and sand (dead, as far as i knew)... hmm... ill just wait to see if it grows on me.

I should have about 50 days left. We'll have to have a diving trip near Diamond Head. Heard there are some decent spots, not too rough. I might upgrade my lighting as well, PC doesn't seem to work for growing coralline. That means I have to build a new hood to hold MH lights.

First order will be a 100% water change over the course of a week or so. Anyone have a aqaurium membership I can abuse?
