Hawkfish being a bully

I have a regular hawkfish, I guess you could say. The spotted one, but not the giant species . Its been a quiet little tank. Hawkfish, my clowns, my tangs...I just bought a beautiful male Flasher Wrasse and the hawkfish hates him. I realize this happens from time to time and my question is, if I take him out of the aquarium for a while and put him in the sump for a few weeks and reintroduce him back to the tank is there a good chance he will change his tune.

I have had success with that method as well as an acclimation box...just becareful what you introduce with a hawk ..they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths.

can also try putting a mirror in front of the Hawk...may keep him distracted for a bit...moving him to the sump may help too...try leaving lights off a few days when introducing new livestock and rearranging the aquascaping...
