Hawkfish compatibilty

Ello all,

i have a pixy hawk and was wondering which fish and inverts (motile) would be compatible with him.
particually hermits, stars, unchins, and clowns.

you want to get fish that are fast and can defend themselves. If the hawk takes a look at a fish that is weak and immobile, he will destroy it. I have seen it happen.

urchin would be fine, along with an anemone and a star.

you could try some large shrimp, as long as the fish is fed well things should be ok. It's always a gamble though.

try a coral banded shrimp. they can hold their own.

I had a spotted Hawk who picked off my cleaner shrimp one by one. He was a real sob. I tried to kill him and could not. Eventually, I caught him and returned him to the store of origin. That is the last time I buy a fish because it watches me intensely as I walk by it in the store.

I have a hawk with a CC star and he does not bother him. I have been thinking about adding a urchin.
