I'm looking into getting a pair of longnose hawks for my 60g since my cleaner shrimp went missing, but I'd also like to be able to add a pair of Ecsenius blennies at some point. Is this a safe bet?
I have a pair of flame hawks with a midas and a tailspot blenny. They all get along well, the midas tried bossing the big male hawk at first, but got his butt kicked a bunch of times and know he knows his place. Really they don't mess with anything unless something starts it with them. A couple of weeks ago I added a tomini tang that went after the Hawks and got beat up pretty bad for about a week, but now has subsided.
