i just found my pacific blue tang today with three spot on her and after research come to conclude its hlle... does anyone know of anything that will help. even though it states no treatment is available

My LFS owner is a biologist and turned me on to Selcon when my Yellow Tang had HLLE. I posted this in another thread but seems useful here too.

First picture is the day I started supplementing their food with Selcon. Second is after a week. The tissue loss was completely reversing itself.

Are you using any Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)?

yes , is there some other type i should be using? i have some bitimus lignite

How are you using it? In a reactor or just a bag in the sump?
