Heading to Little Cayman in January and was wonderingyour thoughs about the diving and anything i should know before going.

The diving is excellent, some of the best in the Caribbean. Watch out for Iguana's crossing the road 
Also be sure and treat the pilots of the puddle jumpers right, they have ways of getting revenge on annoying people. Had one of those annoying types leaving the Island the same time I was, he was giving them real problems, his luggage didn't show up at Grand Cayman airport till minutes before his flight home. He was sweating it, while everyone else was just sitting back and laughing 
It's a nice quite place. Lot's of good diving, snorkeling is also very good. No night life outside the resort bars and the land crabs.
