Has anyone received good quality fish from Liveaquaria?
I havn't. From all the local fish stores, and trades from local people to me, I've NEVER had a fish die. Every single fish I've gotten from Liveaquaria has died within a day or two of receiving it (one arrived dead). a Tiny Pac blue tang, a green mand., a firefish, a sixline, even a green mathrix.... (most snails/crabs made it just fine)
I really doubt it's anything I'm doing. I've always used the drip method to acclimate fish. I go very slow and do it "by the book". I've also put them into 2 separate reef tanks.
I do weekly water changes, test my water often and my tanks are stable.
The first shipment I let them know the fish (green mandarin and sixline) died and they did issue credits to my account. This second shipment I don't think I will even bother to let them know. I don't think I'd order from them again.
My dry goods orders from DFS have always gone well, but not with LiveAquaria.com .
