heater help

my heater keeps falling off the side. when is lands in the sand it shuts off untill i find it and hang it again. any one know of a better way to hang a heater then with suction cups? Is there a heater out there that wont shut off when on the substrate? any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have a small hang on back refugium i thought of putting it in. its acrylic. will it melt?

I just picked up some clips from salty that use magnets in stead of suction cups. The package comes with one set of magnets and several different clips to fit various things. Works pretty good so far.

the heater will not melt the acrylic.
