Heater Placement

Hey everyone,

I'm planning out my new 200Gal Bowfront and was wondering what the standard was for heater placement. My plan was to place my heaters in the sump but I recently read that this is not recommended. Where do you guys have your heaters located?

both my tanks have them in the sump and i havnt had any problems yet

you are planning on having multiple heaters correct?> that is recomended by just about everyone on a tank that size

Yeah, surely I will have redundant heaters. I'm trying to limit the amount of equipment I have in my display so I'm hoping that having the heaters in the sump will be a reasonable option.
