heater preference

i'm in the process of purchasing equipment and I wanted some advise on heaters. I have a 240 gallon tank with total volume around 300 gallons.

* what brand do you like
* will 2 or 3 heaters be a good idea?
* how many watts should i be looking to have?

i have a neptune jr controller so if it's titanium you like, im not worried about the onboard adjusters malfunctioning

I run four Marineland Stealth 250w heaters, controlled by my AquaController Apex.

I have a total water volume of almost exactly 300g, and based on the duty cycle, I think 1000w is about appropriate for my system.

Go with titanium or plastic... glass heaters are asking for trouble IMNSHO.
