Heater problem

I have 2 250watt marineland visitherm heaters in my sump. they have been doing great holding the tank's temp at 77 degrees F.

All of a sudden they are not working so well and my tank is at 71 degree F. They are on, but what is happening? I tried unplugging them for 15 minutes thinking maybe there was a power surge regardless of having them plugged into the surge protector and still didn't fix it I don't believe. I will be running out to get new heaters today, but I have never had an issue with these and was wondering what is up. has anyone else had this problem?

I know the stealth was recalled but these are different. I still have the one from my freshwater tank in my QT tank and it still works...

I took them both out and got fluvals. not what I wanted, but it's all the LFS had and my corals looked really upset with the water being 70! :mad2:

I contacted marineland about it since it hasn't been a year. man what is up with their products? recently it seems the quality has been slacking! the heaters look like there is condensation inside which means moisture got inside somehow. they just weren't working. luckily they didn't fry the tank!
