heater question

ok i have a dumb question.. with your heaters for your tank.. how do you place them .. vertical , horizontal, or slanted?

Does not matter. I usually put it vertical in the corner of the tank. To me it is the least intrusive.

Doesn't matter. If no sump and you need to place it in the tank try to hide behind some rocks.

I put mine in the sump but I have a friend that put it in his internal overflow.. good hiding place.

i have mine horizontal behind my LR, towards the bottom. i would say its best to keep it in a good to high flow area so you dont have any hot spots in the tank.

As long as there in the water (submerged if submersible) and in decent water flow, it doesn't really mater. Having water flow is a must, you don't just want the water around the heater to be warm.
