Heater question

Can these heaters be used flat on bottom of sump or do the have to sit vertical on glass???

I've had the same heater, but I went vertical. Does it say submersible? I'd call marine warehouse as thats where I got mine a long time ago...

Depends on if the heater is fully submersible, most are but with age can leak electricity into your water. I have mine at an angle but still have the top part of the heater in air.

That heater is fully submersible. Or at least the box says it is

Problem is my water level is too low for my heater maybe ill angle it?!

You've seen my tank. Same heater is under water at all times. And nearly sticks out when I do weekly water changes. Never once had a problem with it. I say angle it and it will be fine.
