heater recommendations /450g

my heater just went on the fritz! what would everyone recommend for a 450g tank?

how many watts is everyone running?

someone once told me and it makes sense. Buy multiple smaller units, in case one stay in the open position it is less likely to boil the tank. I also think by using multiple ones and spreading the across you sump they are more efficient.
