Heater stuck on - HELP!

I dont know if its the lights or not because I put a fan across the surface of the tank...bu the temp never got that high today. Its more likely that the lights were he cause than the heater as the heater seems to be working fine - but ill leave it out anyway just in case...I need to get two 100 Watt titaniums anyway. Should I invest in a temp alert to0, or do oyu think its uneeded?

the 2 100 watt heaters shouldn't be able to do too much damage unless there are extreme circumstances. I think you'd be fine w/o. if it gives you a better comfort level then go for it

I have heard good things about the finnex brand titanium heaters. even though murphy says they will all fail at sometime

I like mine-- very precise. Will warn you if hot or cold... I sleep better with it installed.
