Heater Suggestions

I use a aquamedic temp controller and need to upgrade my heaters for a new 120 gallon tank in progress. What submersible types is everyone using?

Can't see having my system at risk to low quality heaters.

300 watt titanium , with controller ,, and some kind of a back up unit set a few degs lower than your main in case of break down. thats how mine is and works just fine , never have seen the back up on yet thank god ,,, but you should pull the back up out and crank it up now and then to see that its still working good ,,,

the backup is a good idea but most problems seem to be caused when one sticks on. that's why having a heater set then a controler set up to shut it off at a few degrees warmer is good too.

i have 2 one in the sump and 1 in the refuge works awesome definitely get submersibles
