Heaters which one?

What do you guys think is the most trusted heater out there today?

I like my Jager heaters backed up by a controller. I also subscribe to the multiple undersized heater method as opposed to a single large heater.

Man I am know thinking about running two smaller heaters in stead of one. If one gets stuck in the on position wont over heat the tank. I have always been a big fan of Eheim Jager. Now I just need to figure out what wattage running two heaters on a 120 gallon tank with a 40 gallon breeder sump. Also looking into a controller, but not going into the Apex route.

I used Finnex for years with NO problems, after ten years when i replaced them due to failure, the new Finnex died within a year. Something changed. Eheim Jager on controllers is my go to now.

Lol I just had an Eheim Jager heater fail on the preschool tank last month. The light would stay on like it was heating but it would no longer heat. I'm sure both brands have issues occasionally.

I had a Finnex 800W and it didn't last a year.
Went with the BRS , better waranty and more accurate programming and easy to read display.

Heaters of any brand are the most unreliable equipment we use. That's why I like redundancy on them.

Heaters of any brand are the most unreliable equipment we use. That's why I like redundancy on them.

This! I use four heaters on my 600 gallon system and two on my freshwater 400 gallon system.
