heating 2 tanks

If I have a 2 tank stand, would the bottom tank be able to heat to above tank simply based on the heat rising principal?

it wouldent work enought to heat the top tank, yes heat rises but it would not heat the top tank enough to keep the temp good, it would to (*heating the top tank) if you had the bottom tank really high, high enouigh to kill what ever is in the tank, but than again the top tank would not get enough heat from convection heating
