Heavily Modified Biocube Build

I can't get a good pic at all. The tank is doing well. Had a case of red bugs that I dosed sentinel to get rid of. Some sps had tissue loss so I had to frag them down a little bit. The RBTA has struggled for the last month or so. It is alive just not extending its tentacles. I believe it will live but just can't seem to find a happy spot. I am going to get the anemone crab out if I can catch it because it seems to be annoying it quite a bit. Here's the best FTS I can get.

where did you pick up sentinel and can you dose it directly into your main tank? i have red bugs and have been looking for an in tank method to get rid of them

I got it from my vet after explaining to her what it was for. I dosed it directly into the tank with the skimmer off, filter sock out, and carbon out. You have to dissolve it in tank water first which is surprisingly hard. I crushed it up and put it in a tupperware with a lid and shook the heck out of it for like 15 minutes. After that I poured it right into the DT.

I put half a tab of the 11-25 lb dog strength. Nothing in the fish tank game is fully safe but I couldn't tell it was in the tank other than the red bugs died. It is not invert safe so you need to remove them when treating. I put my hermits and snails in a zip lock bag full of tank water and floated it in the sump until after the post treatment water change.

Yes my LEDs are white and blue. I'm struggling to balance it being overly blue and washed out white. You can see both extremes in my last two pics.

I appreciate everyone looking at my build.

Here's a few respectable pics from today. Happy with the tank so far. Everything is going well other than my RBTA doesn't look like its going to make it.

Thank you for the compliments. I also love those clowns they have gained a ton of black in the few months I've had them. I picked them up tank raised off a fellow reefer here in Michigan. I picked the 2 most radically patterned clowns he had.

Now I just need to get them a healthy nem to live in. I'm hoping my RBTA bounces back and I'd like to get my hands on a H. Malu. Malus are very very rare if not non-existence in Michigan (don't even bother looking for a mag or gig around here) so I'll be keeping my eyes on the divers den.

New addition, an H. Malu anemone from LA. Starting to figure out my camera and have had some luck using Lightroom to make the pics show the actual colors. Not there yet but it's getting there.

with the full Apex, you can run both this tank and a second one. The Apex is way to awesome. This tank falls suit, amazing job! I also have a biocube 29, but mine is mixed reef with heavy influence in zoa/palys. Just awesome....

Still fighting hair algae that came during the cycle. It is very frustrating as the main reason I used dry rock was to avoid inherited problems like algae. Anyway, I picked up an RBTA yesterday. It wondered around all day and night and seems to have stopped here. I snapped 2 quick pics with the iPhone.
