I am thinking of adding this fish to my tank. When I can I like to add pairs (or harems). Is there any clues as to male/female so I can up my odds of having a pair?
I tried a "pair" of Rainfords and they constantly fought. So assuming that the hectors would be similar I'd be careful unless you're sure it's actually a pair.
