Height of the Single RMS mount

Can you tell me what the height of the single RMS unit is from the XR30? I want to put a canopy over the tank and want to make sure I have enough clearance.

I saw one website that said you needed 12" but I know someone that measured an older one and it was only 10" off the top of the tank. Not sure if there have been changes to this mount?

I use RMS mounts and a rail system and if I wanted to build a canopy over the whole thing, I would want to build it with 10-3/4" clearance, but that would give about 1/4" clearance.

We have not made any changes to the RMS. That said, we recommend at least 12 inches to allow plenty of room to ensure the RMS fits inside your hood.
