Hello all new to the area

Hello fellow reefers I am new to the area living in the gallatin area and just wanted to say hi and ask a few questions like where can i buy items without driving over 40 min. to get somewhere. I have a 125 that i am about to set up and i am going to be making about 140 lbs of my own rock but i am looking for a place to buy sand and a few more items that most LFS should have not petco...... But anyway I have been in the hobby a while and doing all sort of things for the hobby if i can help in any kind of way please let me know i would also like to get involved in your club if possible what is needed from me i am leaving for flordia for 2 months and will be back in dec......

Welcome to MTRC as I see you are already a part of the RC comunity! Great bunch of folks on here. Not much in ways of stores other than Aquatic critter even close to you I think but I am not real familiar with that area and I think its a pretty good drive from you also. Drs foster smith is the way to go as far as sand/salt because they do a flat shipping on hevy stuff now since you are not real close to a LFS.

Welcome to Nashville and the Club. Great bunch of folks here, I've been in SW only a few months, but loving it. Good to see Navy here. I retired as an HMC from the I & I Staff, Marine Corps Reserve Center in Nashville, but that was in 1984 <G>.
