Hey everyone,
Some of you know me and some of you don't. My wife and I am finally moved into our new house in Fountain City:D

We moved from Nashville because I am starting Vet school at UT in August. My wife starts work as a nurse at UT medical center tommorrow. We are both very excited to be in Knoxville. The people in our neighborhood have been extremely nice. One young man named Casey even worked helping us unload the moving van and trailer till 9 Friday night and came back the next morning to help with the rest of the heavy stuff....he even tried(pretty hard) to refuse the money I offered him :eek1:

The tank move went as well as can be expected. Here is a thread on my new setup:

I look forward to being closer in proximity to some of my reefing friend in the ETRC, meeting some new reefers and to attending meetings when I can. I very much look forward to becoming a part of the reefing community in Knoxville:)

thanks, Chris

Welcome to Knoxville and UT. Hopefully they will do better this fall, that is if the players stop being arrested and kicked off the team.

Man I am totally excited that you are going to be in town Chris!

Let me know if you need any help with any tank stuff. I can't lift anything but I am totally willing to help out in other ways!

Chris,
Welcome to Knox... Maybe I'll see you around the Vet school... Probably not untill your 3rd or 4th year though... Thats when all you guys are forced to be exposed to the Large Animal side of things... ;)

welcome to the prettiest end of the State, Chris. Looking forward to learning how you are so successful with your corals. LMK if you need any help finishing the set-up, knocking a hole through the wall for an outside chiller, etc (and when you get ready to take that boat out for a fishing trip!).

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the comments on the tank:D

Kudafish,
Hopefully last year was just a blip. I personally see them around 8 or 9 wins this year and then back in the SEC hunt the year after that. Hopefully I will be able to make a few games. Basketball really helped me forget about football last year and hopefully they will go nowhere but up:)

Look forward to meeting you as well stevensmd:)

I am totally excited to be here Mel:D

ct_vol,
I have heard the 3rd summer and 4th year is when it really starts becoming fun. I love being on the farm and my ag degree really exposed me to a lot of things most aren't exposed to. We had a family reunion weekend before last and I finally appreciated the simmental cattle in the sale book from when my uncles sold off their cattle farm in the early 90's.

Runner,
I normally really enjoy building things but being in a hurry about it takes a lot of fun out of it:rolleyes: I've already decided that if I do it again I will give myself a LOT of time. I'm one of those people that says a couple of weeks and it ends up being a couple of months:lol:

Thanks again for checking on the tank and disposing of big blue for me Don. He would have really polluted the tank if you wouldn't have gotten him out of there. I'm up for fishing whenever I get the chance:) Hopefully a few trips are in order before school starts.

thank, Chris

Heh. I think a year passed between the time I started my stand and finished my hood. You did good to keep it to a few months. ;)

Optimistic, eh;)? Okay. Ole Miss is gonna win at least four this year:D. How you like them numbers, huh?lol

You can allways hope Gary:)

Probably not out of question but the worst thing they have done lately is fire Cutcliff....and the best thing we have done is rehire him:D

I really feel sorry for Casey's Kentucky boys...they are stuck with Randy Sanders:rolleyes:

Chris

We used to have Vandy to pick on, but they even beat us last year. Last year was the worst year I have seen since following the Rebs... Coach O showed me nothing last year. At all... You hear about a raving Louisiana coon *** and expect some fire breathing from the guys... I didn't think Cutcliffe was a good head coach, but I'm sure he makes up for it with the QB's;).

well, I guess I'm kind of trading places. I'm up in Elizabethton for the rest of this month, then heading down to Memphis in August to start school.

and gflat, Vandy beat the Vols this year too, so don't be too disappointed. My brother starts at Memphis in August, and he is already threatening to wear blue when we play in September!

anyway, the few people that I know from the ETRC are great, so I'm sure you'll have a great time. Maybe I'll get to know some of your compatriots from west TN soon.
