I did a couple years ago, I bought the 55gallon package to add to an existing 125 gallon aquarium.
The rock is rather heavy and not that porus but the life is amazing.
Quite a few pests but it was well worth it for the life that was added to the system, I was finding new critters months after adding it.
Given the fact that it's great rock for life but rather heavy, I would recomend you buy some base or live rock and use the TBS rock for the life it will add to the system.
I don't know if the rock is for everyone, Some will think the pests aren't worth the trouble.
I on the other hand would love to buy some again but it is quite costly. Here is a link to the TBS forum in the sponsors section You can read what others have experienced there and decide if it's the right rock for you.
Still trying to decide on new system. Looking at either an Oceanic 8 or Aquapod 12. I like that both have 4.5 watts/gal. I'm also tossing around the idea of buying a cheap 30 gal and putting on some nicer lights. I have a tight budget of $150 for tank and lights. Ideas?
Hey skis I have a 24 gallon nano that I'm taking down in the next month or so I might be willing to part with fairly cheap......paid $300 ......I'm thinking I could let it go for $225 and I drilled the back so it's sump ready....something to think about
