Just wanted to say hi to all you guys back home. And wanted to ask...Does anyone know of a club in the Salt Lake area? I may be moving here. I don't see any clubs that suggest they are in the area. Also havn't seen any LFS. I havn't really traveled all that much locally, but still, there are alot of shopping centers around, and no LFS to be seen...

Oh, let me know if you find any good LFS there as I spend about a month there each year. I'll see if I can find a club.

When I lived there (1998-9), I found one good LFS. It was called "Fish-R-Us" 4010 S. Highland Dr. (801)274-0113. I can't remember what their salt selection was. (I had left my reef tank in California with a friend for the year I lived in SLC). Things may have changed in 7 years, though.

From what he told me....he didn't find anything.... of coursre I told him to put this in the general diss. for a better chance of finding someone there....

I was in Utah on vacation this summer and visited a few LFSs. Maybe I should call them RFSs (Remote) as I live in Arizona. :)
This was by far the best (awesome huge bowfront display tank).

Maybe he found the Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society http://www.utahreefs.com/

They meet every first Thursday of the month at the University of Utah.

That is an insane reef club, very well orgaized and excellent members :D I've met many of their members, and I got to say, there wasn't one I didn't like
