Hello,
I'm new to the forum, I like the info and replies that I've seen so I figured I'd join.
I've had various SW tanks throughout the years, from 10 - 55 gallons, from the 1980's (fun undergravel stuff) till now. Nothing major and nothing for more than a few years at a time. No reef stuff, mainly fish, a few crabs & shrimp and rocks.
This past Dec (2016) I dusted off some equipment (some quite old) and fired up a 29 gal tank: wet/dry trickle & this past week I finally found the o-ring for my prehistoric protein skimmer (just a reaction tube with H2O in/out and a bubbler, external/separate H2O and air pumps)
I currently have a Ventini puffer, 2 small Ocellaris clowns, a fire goby, a cleaner wrasse and 8 small blue legged hermits. I had to get rid of the 3-spot damsels that cycled the tank when I added the goby & wrasse. The damsels went nuts on the new additions.
Well, there's my intro, looking forward to forum fun
