Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday!!!!!

Just checking up on everyone. This place has been dead and was just making sure everyone is still out there?????:dance:


In regards to the club:
I've sent out a couple emails in regards to the upcoming elections. No one has responded. Does anyone want to be on the BOD??? I don't mind being the treasurer again, but anyone else???? You don't have to really do anything. We talked about having the swap in April again and the BOD has to put that together and put together and attend monthly meetings. That's really about it. Guess we can't even talk about doing a swap if no one wants to be on the BOD. Any interest? You don't have to be like a reef nerd, as we all know I'm not, just a desire to keep the club going.

In regards to the monthly meetings:
We have Dave from Atlantis Aquariums doing February, anybody want to show off their reef in January? We can talk about the BOD and putting on the swap. April is right around the corner, so this needs to be addressed soon.

Hopefully, all the reefers are still around!! It's good to see some newcomers, and hopefully all the regulars are just lurking :dance:

I'm afraid getting people to gather around a young 2.5g tank would be a bit sad to witness so I won't volunteer.

I've heard from sanlynn and she wants to be involved.

If I don't have any volunteers on hosting, I don't mind doing it. I'll give it until the end of the week if someone else wants to do it.

The stand is on wheels so I could wheel it out to the living room

I'm actually in the planning stages on a "big" tank.... 20H drilled with a 10G sump. It'll be like 12x the total volume of my current system!

January may be tough for me to host (birthdays and Nashville swap), but I can do one in the coming months.

Well I may take baby steps (as decreed by my lovely wife) and use one of the 10s I already have a stand built for. I have some ideas on a different type of rockscape design and it'll be a lot cheaper to try on a 10g for starters.
