Hello everyone my name is Kris. I live in Littleton Colorado with my wonderful wife Nichole. I am 32 years old and work in the Insurance industry. :blown:

Anyways when I was 15 I had a 55 gallon reef aquarium. I had that setup for about a year before I had to tear it down and move 3 thousand miles. I am now back into the hobby after many many years! I purchased a 125 gallon Oceanic aquarium and am now in the process of setting everything back up. I am still waiting for some of my equipment to arrive however my tank has been setup for almost a couple months now and so far have 2 clownfish. As soon as my light fixture (72" Hamilton w/ 4 actinics & 3 radium 250watt MH/m80 ballasts) comes in I will start to slowly add corals. The long long process of having a reef setup has begun!

Hi Kris! Welcome to Reefcentral and congrats on finding DARC!

There are several active groups in the metro area. The website referenced above is MASC and most of their meetings are northern Denver, including northern Colorado. There is also SCMAS which is based out of the Springs, meetings are held from Pueblo into Parker.

DARC holds meetings every month, mostly in southern Denver. We look forward to having you join us. Be sure to check out our upcoming Frag Swap Oct 16th at Highlands Ranch High School!

What kind of clownfish do you have?
