Just wanted to say hey, FINALLY getting around to RC, not to mention, the OKC area fish network! ;]~ Anyone in the area know of good LFS? I'm down by OCCC and the one that I've found near me is.... I'll leave it to the dots to 'splain the rest.

Anyways... Little about me. How's that? I've had a 120g for about a year in Hawaii, and a 30g for a lil over two years there as well. When I moved to OKC, I had to get rid of them (still have the tank/sump/stand for the 30g however). After getting married, I convinced my wife to let me get a 10g nano going! Whoo hooo!

Well, its been going for about a year now, couple of bumps in the road, but everything in it is flourishing (as far as I know, hahahaha) and now I'm looking to be doing some more upgrades.

Current set-up:
Equipment-
AquaClear 50 (going to be turning that into a HOB refugium)
Coralife 96watt 67k PC light
2x 660 powerheads
Livestock-
14lbs LR
Royal Gramma
2x Candy Cane's
2x Frogspawn
Snail
~5x hermit crabs
and a Feather Duster appeared one day! =D

Looking at probably turning that AquaClear into refugium like I stated, and looking at where I can get some cheato for a reasonable price, and looking at what else I need to do to the AquaClear for converting it. (Any help in that dept would be much appreciated.)

Also going to be getting a small canister filter for weekly cleaning after I blow off the LR.

Finally.... Some more coral, a shrimp, and possible a Lawnmower Blenny (for the sand clean-up). Well, any input to some compatible corals and other livestock would be VERY much appreciated! Thanks and howdy all!!! =D

Below is some current pictures! Heh... (sorry for the large images, still not sure how to 'scale' them down...)

Welcome!!! Always nice to have a new tank to talk about, as well as new members, lol.
Plenty of LFS here, listed on the comas website, see above post.
If you have any question regarding COMAS or LFS here in the OKC area, feel free to ask. You found the best group to ask about em. :D

Nice pictures there, I got a froggie just like that. And love the candy canes, most people just stick up boring ol' pics of theres, but not you, you let us see your pooping!! whoo hoo!

HuH???

I'll DEF get on the COMAS web site and get on the swapping program! =D Cheapest, and BEST way IMHO is to get the same frags that REAL reefkeepers have, instead of the man trying to make a buck... =]

I actually had a question about the candy cane, and frogspawn... Has me a little worried.

When I was cleaning the tank this past weekend, the both broke apart when I tried to move them! I SCREAMED!!! They have always seemed to be ok, and they seem to be getting bigger, and more colorful. But then they just kinda, sneezed and split. I'm REALLY hoping that is a good sign, that they are growing, and that is natural, as opposed to the opposite....

Anyways, thanks for the welcomes!! =D

uh, candy canes and froggies don't just "split" that quickly, it takes time and growth. If they "broke" keep an eye on them for tissue damage or reccesion.

As for the candy cane pooping comment, look at that pic, see that stuff coming out of it's mouth (sucks to be corals uh?)

Hahahahahaha! Got'ch'ya! It was some algae that I was able to get out no problem.

Well... I've had both of those corals for almost a year now. And I've never had a problem with them, they've always been happy. (As far as I can tell... But I'll still keep an eye on 'em.) Now my Flower Pot that I had... *tear* That didn't do so well in the move a few months back. And I lost that. More's the pitty, because that was my favorite one. Ah well... Its moved on to bigger and better places I guess.
