I'd say over feeding is possible. I feed my 125 two frozen cubes and a 3" sheet of nori everyday and I have 9 fish, 2 shrimp, 1 serpent star, and a bunch of hermits.
Could yoj post a pic of you tank so i could try to mimic youre setup

Magnifica anemone are quite hardy once acclimated, but hard to get through acclimation. Not an animal for the novice reefer either. How long had you had it, did you say? I'd suggest starting with an easier animal, perhaps a BTA. Mags do need a somewhat specialized physical environment.

Perched atop a tall rock so they cannot wander and exposed to high light and chaotic flow.

I've successfully kept several mags and gigs. All 4 needed Cipro treatment. They were purchased from liveaquaria and lfs. Flow def needs to be chaotic and strong light. Mine is perched in the path of a gyre xf150 and under xr30 radion pros. I placed him there and it has not moved.

To make the flow even more chaotic my returns come thru 2 sea swirls and is fed by a vectra L1.

Good luck but please do more research. I hate seeing these awesome animals die.
