Help! Anemony is stuck in powerhead

I bought a bubble tip anemony yesterday and last night it got its tenticles stuck in the powerhead any suggestions?

shut the power head off and hope for the best. If the anemone starts to deteriorate (die), get it out of the tank.

What would happen if I cut the tenticles that are stuck would it kill it?

I would guess any more trauma to the anemone will be even more detrimental. From my experience, Anemones and power heads don't fair well in the same tank unless the anemone can be protected from the power head's intake. I can't tell you how many threads I've read about Anemones in power heads.

Maybe you could consider removing the power heads and installing closed loops.
