two things.

Is the level actually the length of the tank, or longer? If not, it's often pretty useless as you are only leveling a short section of the tank as opposed to the entire tank.

If it is, lift the end of the level and see how much "gap" there is to "correct" the bubble. If the gap is less than an 1/8", i don't know that i'd do anything. If it's more than an 1/8, then i would shim the stand.

personally it looks close enough for me. When my tank was 1/8 out of whack it was enough to cause the bubble to nearly reach the line. However, not all levels are equal, so you really need to check the gap.

As it's a small level, you'd only need to lift it up literally a hairs thickness to get it reading bang on level. As said use a level the same length of the tank or close

So I used a carpenters level on my recent build and noticed it showed level. But once I filled it with water I was getting a lot more return water on one side than the other. I happen to run a machine shop in my back yard so I went and got my machinist level and it showed it way off, though the resolution is .005" per foot on it. Way overkill but I'm anal.

Long story short your fine the way you are.

I'm going to have to go against the grain here. Judging by your pics it looks as though the back panel is perfectly level while the front panel is not. What this means then is the left and right panels are not at all level to one another which causes stress (twisting) in both the panels and the seams. If it were my tank I would absolutely re-level it, makes sleeping at night a whole lot easier.

Does it still look off? or should i be concerned?

Your previous pics indicated some twisting of which I had concerns. It is difficult to be certain by the current pics but it does look very close. The biggest concern is to avoid any twisting of the tank. While facing the front panel the tank can be out of level from left to right as long as both the front AND back panel are out to the same degree, it looks unsightly but puts no twisting on any of the panels. Twisting a tank is what causes them to fail.
I spent several days leveling my new 80gal system before I was happy but I am confident if the tank fails it was nothing I could have avoided. Better to be safe than sorry. BTW, my system is rimless so if it was out of level it would be easy to see in the tank rim to water margin, not something I would be willing to accept.

his front/back is fine, it's his left/right that is off. it's not twisting... but it shouldn't cause any problems.. it's more level than my 75 gallon... which has been running for 8 years.
